If you followed me on my Instagram feed recently, you might have noticed that I uploaded a lot of photos of the 99 Bonham Hotel in Hong Kong. So, I thought of sharing my experience at the 99 Bonham Hotel with you.
99 Bonham Room Overview
When it comes to location, Shou Wan is the nearest railway station. As a matter of fact, it’s just a 10-minute walk from the center of Hong Kong’s business district. The hotel’s reputation has a Google Map rating of 4.3 and a Booking.com rating of 8.8/10 (as of 2021), which is pretty high, and the reviews are mostly positive.
99 Bonham Room Interior
A panorama of Hong Kong’s densely populated cityscape may be seen via large glass walls that extend from the +oor to the ceiling. As you can see, even a single shot of the inside is pretty beautiful. So many Instagrammers are drawn to the area because of its beauty and accessibility. Light +ows in through the huge windows, giving you the impression of being in Hong Kong, which is exactly where you really are.
By the way, the Deluxe Suite is the highly recommended accommodation. Due to its greater window space than lower level rooms, the Deluxe Suites will have the Hong Kong cityscape as a backdrop to your photograph, no matter which angle you shoot your photo from.
However, if it is not visible in the photograph, there is a fully functional kitchen where you can boil water and dispose of it. If you want to remain in Hong Kong for a few weeks to a month, you may rent it out like a light serviced apartment to keep your expenses down.
By the way, If the weather is nice, you may take a stroll out to the rooftop and take in the scenery, which seems like something out of a Hong Kong *lm. There are also benches, parasols, and tables put up so that you may enjoy the sun during the day when it’s not too hot or has a drink at night while taking in the night view of Hong Kong from the harbor.
99 Bonham’s Hotel Gym
Now is an important section of this blog, rating the gym at the hotel. Take a peek at the *tness centre at 99 Bonham. This is how you get in. As you go inside the gym, this is the view you see from the door. (There’s more room on the opposite side of the photo.)
Along the way, as you near the back of the gym, you’ll discover a variety of raining equipment, such as dumbbell racks and benches, as well as several multi-purpose devices.
Glamorous lighting in the form of spotlights adorns the space, mostly made of glass or mirrored surfaces. Because BBC News is continually playing, you can keep up with current events worldwide while working out.
It’s not a wide variety of dumbbells, but each weighs in at a maximum of 20 kg. The compound machine is placed at the far end of the gym room, and it appears like it can perform lat pulldowns, leg lifts, chest presses and +yes.
Then, what a surprise! Leg presses are possible on this compound machine, which is incredible. To utilize it, a man of average height must sit in the machine’s seat, which is *xed in place. In one of the gym’s corners, you’ll *nd a computer and internet station.
Check out what I found! This gym’s snack area is the best part. Bottled water, both room temperature and chilled can be seen at a glance. Water, a towel, Coca-Cola/Schweppes/Red Bull/Energy bars, and Wet Wipes. We have all of these options on hand.
This is the only food and drinks you may consume. Wonderful. It’s worth noting that the remote control for the TV may be used to watch local Hong Kong shows if you become weary of the BBC news.
Once again, NATURE VALLEY’s all-you-can-eat energy bars are back. While in Hong Kong for business, I was handed anything from three to *ve of them every day, which was quite convenient since I didn’t have enough time between meetings to eat properly at all. It’s perfectly OK if you don’t want to eat at the hotel since you’re staying bare-bones. Then you may bring it with you instead.
Free English-language tourist guidebooks are also available, including a selection of the greatest photographs taken in Hong Kong. You can take advantage of it if you are interested.
There is also a water server in addition to bottled water. If you purchased anything that requires hot water from a convenience shop in town, you might want to make use of the hot water.
It is a hotel that I often get inquiries about on Instagram, as I said in the opening of this post. The hotel is a work of art in every room, and it’s awe-inspiring and re*ned. It’s unusual for Hong Kongers to *nd such kind and helpful service.
As a whole, the hotel is fantastic! In my opinion, it’s one of the city’s best hotels. In Hong Kong, this 99 Bonham Hotel is one of my top three favorite hotels. When you are in Hong Kong, I highly recommend this place to anybody who is interested.
